No Contest

I forget, why should I quit on my country?
And why should we piss in our own wells?
Tell me, do you think it's possible
That they've been just using you and me?

The meek, who one day will inherit this world,
When we'd rather co-author its history.

It's a 'no contest', we cannot lose
Let's sit out, when it's not our fight
It's a 'no contest', hell; we refuse
To let the madness of other men rule our lives

Something's wrong with the constitution
(When) criminals freely contest
It's the same with a law that if upheld, breaks another
So keep 'them' hands off me till the system repairs

With dust in our eyes, we cheer on new roads
Let's remember these lines before we make a toast
Of "How much? By when? And who's in charge?"
Let's make 'em write answers on a simple sign post

It's a 'no contest', we cannot lose
Let's raid the parasites, instead of upping the tax
It's a 'no contest', hell; we refuse
The slimy public servant who puts the public last
