Has anyone used follower boosts to revive a dead Instagram page?

I’ve got this old IG account from back when I used to blog about books. I stopped posting like a year ago, but now I want to bring it back and maybe shift it to more lifestyle content. Problem is, the engagement is dead — barely any views or likes. I’m thinking of giving the page a boost to look more active. Anyone tried this kind of reset?
